Our Roman Day!

As we are studying Romans as part of our Topic this term, we had a 'Roman Day'.

We all came to school dressed as Romans...

 

 

We had a great time. We stayed in the outfits throughout the day.

 

We even had a Roman Feast at the end of the day!

Start of Summer in Class 3T

On Thursday 18th April we had some people visit us from 'Get Cycling'. they had so many bicycles for us to ride but they weren't standard bicycles - take a look:

 

We had an amazing morning riding these bikes. We were very lucky to have been given the opportunity to ride such wonderful bikes!

William Morris Gallery

For Art Week, this year, we visited the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow to learn about the famous prints and designs of William Morris.

 

 

Heres work has a focus on repeated patterns!

 

 

There were also interactive activities available to us - we had great fun!

 

 

 

What's happening in Class 3S?.....

We had a great time during Book Week. We dressed up as our favourite book characters and also had an afternoon of 'bedtime stories' when we wore our pyjamas and had drinks and biscuits!
 

 

 

We also went into a class in year 1 to read to the younger children.
 

 
On the 30th January we went on a trip to the British Museum. This was a fantastic day out - take a look at our photos!
 

Year 2 - Our Pirate Day

All of Year 2 recently spent the day dressed as Pirates! We had a swashbuckling time on the high seas exploring desert islands and hunting for Blackbeard's long lost treasure.


We played Pirate games and really enjoyed our adventure. Aha me hearties!

Dinosaurs everywhere!

On Tuesday 10th May our class travelled to London by coach to the Natural History Museum. We had the most fantastic time there where we looked at Dinosaurs and Dinosaur Skeletons. We were all amazed at how life-like these dinosaurs were. There was a T-Rex that moved and roared at us as we walked past! This was great fun. The trip really helped us as our topic in class is 'The Land before Time'.
We are also learning about cavemen in class and how they lived many years ago.
